How long will it take to receive my order?
For all of the items that are ready made, they will be securely packaged and sent out for delivery within 2 working days. If it is made to order, it will of course take a little longer and will vary dependant on the design however all the details on this will be provided in the product description. For any commissioned items, I will work with you directly on a timeline and keep you updated as I go along.
How do I care for a cowhide product?
Part of the luxury of cowhide is it is very easy to look after, needing very little care. They don’t mark easily - even with grass stains! If there is a stain, we suggest using mild soap and a warm, clean cloth to wipe it away. Alternatively, a duster or light hoover is great to get dust off - try following the direction of the hair so it stays looking good.
Where does the cowhide come from?
All of our beautiful cowhide comes from a family run business in Pakistan; which is second to Italy with the highest quality hides in the world. All of the hides are produced as a by-product from the food industry, so that there is no further waste. We work directly with the supplier to hand select each one through a mixture of photos and videos before they are then shipped to our UK studio to be produced into the products we have for sale.
Why is cowhide such a good material?
It is the most wonderful bi-product that has an array of practical attributes as well as such stunning aesthetics. It is a versatile and low-maintenance material with supreme stain resistance, a hypoallergenic nature and requires minimal effort to keep clean. Leather is very tough and strong, thus will stand the test of time for wear and tear over the years.
